ARCO/Murray Laundry Services

DESIGN|BUILD APPROACH

ARCO/Murray developed to following steps to successfully guide our clients’ projects from concept to completion.

  • A project kick-off meeting is scheduled to establish the functional, aesthetic, economic and schedule requirements for the proposed development. ARCO/Murray will use prepared checklists to facilitate conversation and ensure that all required information is conveyed and understood.

  • Based on the information received in the kick-off meeting, ARCO/Murray will assemble the Architectural, Civil and Structural designers needed to fully assess your project requirements. At this point, an in-depth study will be conducted, followed by the creation of preliminary project plans.

  • ARCO/Murray will generate a price for your project based on the preliminary project plans. Generation of this proposal will consist of the following steps:

    • ARCO/Murray will use in-house cost databases in addition to national and local subcontractor and vendor input to create an economic model for the project. Various options and alternatives will also be evaluated on a cost and schedule basis and presented with the proposal.

    • A complete project schedule will be developed showing preconstruction, design, permitting and construction tasks and durations.

    • In order to further establish the baseline scope of work, ARCO/Murray will create an Outline Specification denoting all work included and excluded. This specification will cover all work in detail.

    • The proposal letter that clearly define the project economics. The price will be presented in person so that ARCO/Murray has the opportunity to completely cover the project scope of work, schedule and costs with you. We believe that a well organized presentation and understanding of the work by all parties are the keys to the start of a successful project.

  • Weekly project updates, project coordination meetings, and web-based progress photos allow you to stay informed and up-to-date once construction begins.

  • Our quality control procedures and record keeping gives you the confidence that all standards are being met throughout construction.

  • After construction is completed, we will provide you with a complete set of record documents for your entire project, including as-built drawings, a quality control manual and a close-out manual. This will allow you to quickly reference any of the components relating to the maintenance or operation of your facility.

  • We will make a series of warranty or follow-up visits to ensure your total satisfaction.
